Nailed It: Habitat for Humanity

Hawkins Companies might be a little biased toward Boise. We have worked and played in this wonderful city as individuals, and as a company, for over forty years. In the truest definition of the word, to us, Boise is home.
In the years since we were founded, we have been fortunate to see our corporate family grow in step with the families of our employees, and feel all the more blessed for it. We are a family company, comprised of families, and proud our employees for fostering a caring culture within our walls.
Still, we understand that not every family has the same opportunities and supportive culture that we enjoy. So, in 2009, the Hawkins Companies family jumped at the opportunity of volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. It was a special event that allowed our family to to literally pick up hammer and nail, and create a home for a family in need.
The effort of the experience was a great vehicle to draw some of employees closer together, and raise awareness for a worthwhile cause.
