Typical Day in the Life

A typical day as a Bookkeeping Clerk might include the following:
• Code, copy, and scan checks into online desktop deposits.
• Run physical deposits to the bank.
• Calculate and process monthly management fees on operating projects.
• Monitor the year-end budget list, creating new budgets as needed, and locking them when the
process is complete.
• Close the accounting periods for the month.
• Bill employees for items that need to be reimbursed.

• You are known for being detail-oriented, incredibly accurate with top-notch organizational skills.
• You are a multi-tasking master, and there has never been a deadline you could not meet.
• You have an analytical mind that looks at problems like a puzzle to solve. Self-motivated is your middle name.
• You are proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, and a quick-leaner when it comes to using new software packages.
• You handle feedback well by turning criticism into something constructive. Your assertive side will allow you to speak up when needed and you take pride in your excellent communication skills.
• In addition to all of this, you have an Associate Degree in accounting with 1+ years of applicable work experience under your belt.
