HAWKINS Joins the 2026 Habitat for Humanity Women Build

At Hawkins Companies, we believe strong communities are built through partnership, service, and people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and make a difference. This year, we’re proud to participate in the 2026 Habitat for Humanity Women Build, supporting a project that empowers women while helping create safe, stable housing for families in our community.

The groundbreaking ceremony will take place on March 20th, marking the start of an exciting journey to build a new home alongside Habitat for Humanity and other dedicated volunteers.

Our team, proudly named the Hard Hat Betties, will be actively participating in the build. From swinging hammers to supporting the project in other hands-on ways, our team is excited to contribute both time and energy to bring this home to life.

In addition to volunteering on the build site, the Hard Hat Betties are also committed to raising funds to support the project. Habitat for Humanity relies on community partners and donors to make projects like this possible, and we’re honored to play a role in helping move the mission forward.

The Women Build program brings together women from across the community to build homes, strengthen neighborhoods, and support families in achieving stability through homeownership. It’s an inspiring example of what can happen when people come together with a shared purpose.

At Hawkins Companies, we’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with Habitat for Humanity and be part of something that will have a lasting impact for a local family.

Stay tuned for updates as construction begins—we look forward to sharing our progress from the build site and celebrating this meaningful project with our community.
