Last week, our team had the chance to roll up our sleeves, grab some brushes, and get creative at Ceramica — all for a great cause! We joined in on Paint the Bowl for Hunger, an event that helps fight food insecurity right here in our Boise community.
Each of us picked out a bowl, chose our colors, and let our inner artists shine (some more abstract than others!). The best part? These bowls will go on to support The Idaho Foodbank’s Empty Bowls fundraiser, helping raise awareness and funds to ensure no family goes hungry.
It was such a fun afternoon filled with laughter, paint-splattered aprons, and plenty of “creative interpretations.” More importantly, it reminded us that even small acts — like painting a bowl — can make a big difference when we come together.
We’re grateful to Ceramica for hosting us, and to our community partners who continue to inspire us with ways to give back.
Because at HAWKINS, building strong communities isn’t just about buildings — it’s about people coming together for good.
