The Inn at 500 is an upscale boutique hotel located in the heart of Boise’s cultural and historical district. This six story hotel is a new addition to the Boise skyline featuring over one-hundred luxury rooms, eighty open-air guest terraces, and ground floor fine dining at Richard’s. In each room and throughout the hotel, unique art is displayed handcrafted by local artists.

A challenging component for the owners of the Inn at 500 was the development of the porte co·chère. Initially, this feature was outside of planning and zoning standards. In a concerted effort with the City of Boise Planning & Zoning Department, Hawkins and the owners of the Inn at 500 brought this important design element to reality through collaboration with design professionals. The result was an interesting and unique focal point to this significant downtown intersection.
