At Hawkins Companies, we believe in the power of community—and the power of a good book. That’s why we were proud to join forces with United Way for their annual Children’s Book Drive. This incredible initiative collects new and gently used books to be distributed to kids across our region, helping spark imagination, literacy, and a lifelong love of learning.
Our team didn’t just collect books—we rolled up our sleeves and got hands-on. In addition to gathering donations, Hawkins team members volunteered time to help sort and clean books to ensure each one was ready to land in the hands of a young reader. It was a small effort with a big impact, and we were grateful to be a part of it.
We’re always looking for ways to give back and build stronger communities. Supporting childhood literacy is one meaningful way we can help plant seeds for a brighter future.
